What I'm reading

Summer is a great time to relax, kick back, and enjoy doing whatever you've been neglecting over the school year or enjoy doing nothing at all. If, like me, you enjoy a good book but aren't sure where to start here's what I'm reading along with my favorite fashion magazines:

Merry Christmas!

It's officially Christmas and I feel like a little kid. I would love to go downstairs and peek at what Santa brought me and I feel like I could stay up all night on the excitment. Probably not such a great idea so I think I'll go get some sleep :) Goodnight :).

Sleepovers and Shopping make me happy :]

This weekend was one of those chill, do nothing sorts. Apart from sleepovers. and shopping :]. Though some consider it to be excruciating pain and others seem to tire within the first hour, Shopping takes me to another world where I forget to feed myself and am sacrificial for clothing. This sort of prioritizing can be a very bad thing but it makes for productive trips to the mall :].

As to sleepovers, they are, as everyone knows, just all around Fun...

especially ones that involve whipping our hair back and forth like Willow Smith.

Barbies

I saw this adorable little girl playing with her new barbie doll and I just had to take a picture. I remember how much I used to love playing with those as a little girl. I think there was something about getting to pick out her clothes and brush her hair that made her an extension of myself while I played. I remember that when playing Legos with my brother, the most important thing for me was to have extra Lego bodies and wigs so my little Lego woman could change her look, forgetting about all the interesting things that Legos might be able to build. It's funny how priorities don't change very easily :).

It's Halloween!

Today is Halloween and though celebrating isn't very common here I still like to find ways to dress up as Playing dress up has been one of my favorite things to do ever since I was a little girl :). I was planning on going to an 80's party tonight but feeling sick again meant that I had to stay home. I hope that for anyone else who likes to play pretend that tonight is a lot of fun :).

17 Today!!

Today I felt like a superhero in disguise. Its such a special feeling to know that it's your birthday and have reason to celebrate though others may have no idea. To top off this lovely feeling, I got a special greeting card AND This month's Seventeen (how appropriate) in the mail today. I also discovered that my mom and sister made me a pink and purple birthday cake and I got to help ice it to make it even more colorful! :) This has been a good day :)

Oh, and did I mention that my age now matches the name of my favorite magazine?

Hahaha okay so this has little to do with Fashion and my blog is getting randomer and randomer but today I had one of my recent obsessions. This being the Burger King Bkool :). I know you were expecting something a little finer but with all the rainbow colored chocolate pieces inside its such a happy little ice cream cup and definitely hard to resist.

Coolest way to travel? Slide on your mirrored glasses and hop on a ferry. My personal favorite way to travel during the summer as not only to you get a breeze and avoid the summer heat but you can be creative and have pleanty of photo opportunities whilst you travel. You'll even get a free hair styling for that windblown look :)
